“中国空间站已全面建成，我们真诚欢迎国际同行一起探索浩瀚宇宙。”时隔两年多再度飞天，航天员叶光富又向国外航天员发出入驻中国空间站的邀请。
24日，叶光富身着蓝色航天服，以神舟十八号乘组指令长的身份，率领两名新队友亮相酒泉卫星发射中心问天阁，与公众见面。
2021年10月，叶光富曾作为神舟十三号乘组的一员，在这里与媒体见面。回到老地方，叶光富有着不一样的感受。
“第一次飞行是飞天圆梦的激动与兴奋；而这一次，身为指令长，压力更大，责任更重。”对叶光富而言，载人航天任务每一次都是新的，再上太空就是一次全新开始。
执行神舟十三号飞行任务时，中国空间站还只有天和核心舱“一居室”，如今迎接叶光富的是三舱三船新构型，任务难度明显提升。在“太空首秀”中，叶光富首次实现6个月在轨驻留。此次重返“天宫”，叶光富将再次挑战半年太空生活，有望刷新中国航天员在轨时长纪录。
对此，叶光富淡然一笑。他认为，随着中国载人航天事业的发展，这样的太空纪录迟早会被打破，最重要的是时刻保持拼搏状态。正如他的微信签名所写：“奋斗成就梦想，拼搏时刻在线。”
再到问天阁，叶光富对国内外航天员合作飞行的期待仍然不变。首飞前，叶光富曾在这里邀请国际同行到中国空间站做客。飞天归来首次公开亮相时，叶光富再次表示，期待有朝一日能与国外航天员朋友们一起，在中国空间站创造一次令人向往的合作飞行。“希望将人类最美好的品质、最友好的氛围带到太空，让人类未来空间充满信任、美好和希望。”
叶光富曾与国际同行一起开展过多次合作训练。这份与国外航天员一起遨游太空的期待或与这些经历有关。2016年，他曾赴意大利与国外航天员共同参加洞穴训练，成为当时首位尚未执行飞行任务即公开身份的中国航天员。一位国际航天员说，“让叶执行这项任务，我非常放心。”随行摄影师评价他“似乎永远也不知疲倦”。此外，他也在国内和国外航天员共同参加海上救生训练。
回想这些经历，叶光富说，“在训练中，我们通过相互交流、学习，彼此建立了深厚的友谊。”在见面会上，叶光富还分享了一个小故事。在他执行神舟十三号飞行任务时，有位一起训练过的国际同行和叶光富几乎是同一时段飞向太空，实现了各自的首次太空梦。当时双方在太空通过地面团队，以电子书信的形式互致问候与祝福。
