苗得雨表示，和平共处五项原则生动反映了联合国宪章宗旨和原则，开启了发展中国家捍卫国家独立主权、建立新型国际关系的历史进程。当今世界进入新的动荡变革期，习近平主席创造性地提出构建人类命运共同体重要理念，呼吁国际社会携手建设持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁荣、开放包容、清洁美丽的世界。中国始终是“全球南方”坚定一员，愿同广大发展中国家一道，弘扬和平共处五项原则，加强国际法治建设，把准航向、齐心划桨、乘风破浪，共创人类社会美好未来。
与会专家深入开展研讨，呼吁弘扬和平共处五项原则，共同应对全球性挑战，着眼全人类共同利益推动建立更加公平、公正、合理的国际秩序。
本次论坛由中国国际法学会、武汉大学国际法研究所、香港亚洲国际法律研究院联合主办，来自英国、法国、爱尔兰、西班牙、巴西、南非、马来西亚等31个国家的知名国际法专家学者、法律官员，以及叙利亚、尼日尔、玻利维亚、缅甸等70余个国家驻华大使、参赞约300人与会。(完)
